Since 1996, the Alliance’s K12 programs have been fostering energy literacy, STEM education, and student leadership, and building the next generation of energy consumers and leaders. Our new digital EmPowered Schools platform has allowed us to serve more schools and more students than ever before, and to address important topics like climate change and environmental justice. The programs are also bringing energy education – as well as efficiency practices and programs – into households, particularly those in hard-to-reach and disadvantaged communities. Join us on April 20th to learn how EmPowered Schools are training students to lead the future of energy efficiency.
