Join Us for the Upcoming EE Coalition Call

Featuring Dave Ribiero, Director of Local Policy at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) - October 7th
We are pleased to invite you to our next EE Coalition Call on October 7th, 2024, at 4:00 PM EST. This session, open to the public, will highlight recent research on energy burdens from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), which found that one in four low-income households spend over 15% of their income on energy bills. This important study will frame the discussion, emphasizing the need for scalable solutions.
The webinar will also cover severalinitiatives that offer critical support for local governments and communities, including:
  • Residential Retrofit for Energy Equity (R2E2): A program aimed at scaling up affordable housing retrofit programs at the community level.
  • Energy Equity for Renters: A collaborative effort to develop and implement rental efficiency strategies with cities and community-based organizations.
  • Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program (EECBG) Blueprint Cohorts: Tailored support for EECBG grantees to accelerate energy efficiency policies and programs.
Together, these resources provide pathways for local governments and communities to drive equitable energy efficiency policies, programs, and investments.
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with DOE experts and learn more about these initiatives. Register here or email Joe Robinson, Policy Associate (Jrobinson@ase.org) to join the conversation!
