EE 101 Briefing Recap
EE 101 Briefing Recap
Last week, the Alliance to Save Energy hosted a briefing on the Hill entitled, "EE 101: Building Blocks of Energy Efficiency Policy." The event had a strong turnout across multiple sectors and all of the speakers gave presentations that highlighted the impressive successes of energy efficiency.
The most notable of these successes is that the Federal Energy Management Program reported that the Federal government used less energy in 2013 than it did in 1975, which is the first year for which data exists.
The Alliance will be holding a similar event later this spring so stay tuned!
