Joseph Womble
Joseph Womble joined the alliance in August 2020 as part of the policy and communications teams. He helped coordinate Alliance messaging on critical issues related to energy efficiency and helped outreach efforts to Capitol Hill through December 2020.
Previously, Joseph worked at the North Carolina Policy Collaboratory, where he was the point person for synthesizing research on energy-related research projects. He also previously interned at the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) in D.C., where he advanced a white paper on incorporating renewable energy in ESG scoring and helped coordinate the annual Policy Forum.
Joseph has a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Public Policy and a Minor in Urban Studies in Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
