An Audio Discussion of What's at Stake for U.S. Transportation.
The Alliance’s 50x50 Commission on U.S. Transportation Sector Efficiency – a group of two dozen public and private sector leaders – has been working for the last year to develop solutions to deeply cut energy use in our transportation. On Wednesday, the Commission will release its consensus report, with recommendations to federal, state, and local policymakers to work toward reducing energy use in transportation by 50 percent by 2050.
Alliance Vice President of Research Natasha Vidangos sat down with experts from the 50x50 Commission co-chair companies, Terry Sobolewski, Chief Customer Officer at National Grid, and Brad Stertz, Director of Government Affairs at Audi, for a discussion that sets the stage for Wednesday’s report release.
